I'm Sunshine — I live in China, and I built this site for friends who kept asking the same practical questions: will my phone work, can I pay with my card, and how do I avoid a problem on arrival? The aim is plain, useful guidance without fear-mongering or sales pressure.
I've lived in China for years, bouncing between Beijing, Chengdu and Shanghai. I pay for everything with a QR code, argue with taxi drivers in half-broken Mandarin, and plan my weekends around which noodle shop has the shortest line.
This site started as a 2,000-word email I kept sending to friends. It became a guide because the same worries kept coming back — and many answers online were old, incomplete or too general to use on the ground. The guides combine lived experience with desk research, official notices and direct links where rules, tickets, hours or payments can change.
Personal observations are labelled as such; changeable facts are checked against the relevant official source whenever one is available. If a rule cannot be verified, this site says so instead of turning a guess into a promise. The guides remain free to read.
